New York: Kuberaa, the crime drama starring Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh, will be available to stream on Prime Video from July 18. The film, directed by Sekhar Kammula, was released in theatres on June 20.
The announcement came via Prime Video’s social media, with a poster featuring the lead actors. The caption read, “A simple man, and the not-so-simple journey of his redemption arc. #KuberaaOnPrime, July 18.”
According to Sacnilk, Kuberaa has earned ₹133 crore globally since its release. It was released in Telugu and Tamil.

Why Kuberaa Is Releasing on OTT So Soon
In an interview with Gulte ahead of the film’s release, producer Sunil Narang had hinted at a quick OTT launch. He explained, “Yes, Telugu films come on OTT platforms in 28 days, sometimes we drag it to 30 days. They have overtaken everything, and it all goes according to their will. I requested them (Prime Video) to give me a few weeks’ time and a July date because there might be a delay in post-production. They said they’ll cut ₹10 crore if I don’t release on 20 June as planned.”

Cast, Story and Reception
Dhanush plays Deva Kallam, a beggar who becomes entangled in a web of corruption and power. Nagarjuna portrays Deepak Tej, a former CBI officer. Rashmika Mandanna appears as Sameera, a woman stranded in Mumbai by her boyfriend. Jim Sarbh plays Neeraj Mitra, a corporate executive whose actions drag the others into crisis.
Kuberaa received positive reviews upon its release for its storyline, performances, and production.
