Madrid: Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady and actress Sofia Vergara are reportedly spending time together in Ibiza, Spain, following a star-studded yacht trip that has fueled speculation of a budding summer romance.
Brady, 47, and Vergara, who turned 53 on Wednesday, were both guests on the Luminara, a luxury superyacht operated by the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. The two-night voyage departed from Rome and featured a high-profile guest list including Kendall Jenner, Naomi Campbell, Kate Hudson, and musicians Ellie Goulding and Sting.
According to a source cited by Page Six, Brady specifically requested to be seated next to the “Modern Family” star during a gala dinner on board. The pair were seen conversing closely during the evening and photographed side-by-side.
“He asked to switch seats to sit next to her at dinner,” the source told the outlet.

The yacht event also hosted Martha Stewart, Colman Domingo, and singer Anitta, among others. Brady’s former partner Irina Shayk was also in attendance, though reports suggest his attention was focused on Vergara throughout the evening.

Following the voyage, the duo were seen spending time together in Ibiza, where they have continued to attract public and media attention. While neither Brady nor Vergara has publicly confirmed the nature of their relationship, multiple outlets, including TMZ, have described their connection as a “summer fling,” though some sources say the pair appear “googly-eyed” and comfortable in each other’s company.
Vergara has shared several images from her Ibiza vacation on Instagram, including a birthday post on July 10 featuring a large bouquet of flowers, captioned only with “Thank you 😉🌸.” She has not posted any images with Brady.
Both celebrities are single following recent high-profile divorces. Brady finalized his divorce from model Gisele Bündchen in 2022, with whom he shares a daughter, Vivian. Vergara ended her seven-year marriage with actor Joe Manganiello in 2024.
Brady has recently been seen at a number of high-profile European events, including Jeff Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sánchez in Venice last month, where he danced with actress Sydney Sweeney. He also attended a birthday celebration in Ibiza last week for producer Mohammed Al Turki, joining Dakota Johnson and Kate Hudson aboard another yacht.
